About Heather

Hi, I’m Heather!

I believe therapy is most powerful when it feels like a safe, collaborative space to explore, understand, and transform.

I work with adults experiencing a wide range of concerns, including trauma, anxiety, depression, identity and self-esteem issues, relationship challenges, perinatal and postnatal mental health concerns for both mothers and fathers, as well as neurodivergence.  My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect, and I value building a genuine relationship where you feel comfortable being fully yourself.

On a more personal note, I’m someone who values authenticity, connection, and humour. I believe these can be just as important in therapy as the “serious work.” Outside of the therapy room, I’m often found with my family, enjoying the outdoors on the Central Coast, or catching up on the latest binge-worthy show. I know that life can be messy, overwhelming, and unpredictable, and I bring this understanding into the way I work with people—meeting you where you are, without judgment.

My Approach

My approach is grounded in warmth, curiosity, and respect. I aim to meet you where you are and walk alongside you as we work toward meaningful change.

I help people uncover and shift the deeper patterns that shape their lives. Trained in Schema Therapy, EMDR, CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based techniques, I integrate these approaches in a way that feels personal and responsive to each client. II have a special interest in supporting women in the perinatal period, parents navigating the challenges of motherhood and fatherhood and anyone ready to do the work to create meaningful, lasting change.

Clients often tell me they value my ability to hold both compassion and challenge—helping them feel deeply understood while encouraging growth and new ways of being.
